My story (worth reading!): The Thread of Life

ONN began with a feeling, one that I find when I am appreciating the power of life ... that is, the feeling within of life itself. I have examined this life within me (by getting in touch with feelings) and found there's much more inside than just thoughts and guts. In the liveliness of life, discovery is abundant. I carry -- we all do -- a fountain of energy and beauty. Finding the feeling of answers is a discovery that I make again and again.

A source of answers, a fountain of discovery, is what I find within me. This is the direct result of directing my attention back to my own source, inside my awareness. This is very difficult to describe, but very simple to practice and easy to do. It is a lifelong process to truly learn. I know this source with the help of someone who teaches me and guides me to look within myself.

My educational background is in communications and computer programming. For two years, I coordinated the Philadelphia Noetic Science Group for members of the Institute of Noetic Sciences and anyone interested in explorations of human mind and experience. When the Philadelphia noetic group disbanded, I put together Online Noetic Network (late 1994). At first ONN was small groups discussing noetic topics by email, then ONN evolved into an online publishing house and member group. Now there is no membership and ONN simply publishes The Journal.

I created this website to let people know about ONN. Now the site's main purpose is to give visitors a way to sign up for The Journal. The wealth of inner experience is the focus of ONN.

Subjectivity is common to all human experience.
Online Noetic Network is based on the understanding that our consciousness is immediate and all else is remote.
In the laboratory of our experience, we can come to know ourselves and discover more than can be imagined.
This perspective is not religion —-
for it's within, not what is learned.
It is not science —-
for it's not an objective study.
Learning about yourself is a study performed in stillness, by subtle feelings inside —-
an introspective exploration.
ONN looks at the experience of life and celebrates it.
